Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of WhereToWatchSports as a fan and, if you claim a venue, as a bar or restaurant operator.

Effective date: October 21, 2026  |  Operated by: Where To Watch Sports, LLC

1. Who These Terms Cover

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of WhereToWatchSports (the “Service”). A separate section below (Section 6) applies specifically to bar and restaurant operators who claim a venue and use the operator dashboard, including the free Verified plan and optional paid tools. If any section conflicts with another, the more specific provision governs.

2. The Service — What It Does and What It Does Not

WhereToWatchSports helps sports fans find nearby bars and restaurants that may be televising specific games. Venue listings are presented in trust tiers (“Confirmed,” “Likely,” and lower-confidence listings). Confirmed listings reflect information an operator has claimed and provided; Likely and other listings are predictions, not guarantees. We do not guarantee that any venue is actually showing any game at any time. The Service is informational only and is not a booking or reservation platform.

3. Using the Service

You may use the Service for lawful, personal purposes consistent with these Terms. You agree not to scrape or crawl the Service beyond what our robots.txt permits, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, interfere with its infrastructure, impersonate any person or entity, or submit false or misleading information through any feature of the Service.

Age. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You can browse the Service without an account.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and text (excluding third-party content), is owned by or licensed to WhereToWatchSports. If you submit content or feedback through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it in connection with operating and improving the Service.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant the accuracy of game schedules, venue listings, trust-tier designations, or whether any venue is actually showing any game. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for claims arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

6. Bar and Restaurant Operator Terms

This section applies to bar and restaurant operators (“Operators”) who create an account and use the claim, listing management, or subscription features of the Service. By completing the claim process, you agree to these additional terms.

6.1 Account and Authorization

To claim a listing, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, are authorized to act on behalf of the venue you are claiming, and that the information you provide is truthful and accurate. Fraudulent claims are a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension of your account and removal of the listing.

6.2 Operator-Provided Information

Information you provide (schedules, attributes, descriptions, photos) is displayed as Confirmed-tier data and may override previously inferred information about your venue. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it, and you represent that you are authorized to provide it and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.

6.3 Verified Plan & Paid Tools

Verified — free for approved operators

Who gets it. When we approve an ownership claim for a venue, that venue receives our Verified plan at no charge.

Verified — free for life for early sign-ups. If you submit an ownership claim for a venue on or before December 31, 2026 (11:59 p.m. Mountain Time) and we approve it, even after that date, Verified stays free for that venue for as long as you remain its approved claimant. Covers Verified only. The offer ends if you release your claim (unless we restore that claim within 7 days), if your claim is removed after a dispute, if Verified ends under "When Verified can end" below, if you delete your account, or if the venue is removed from the Service. It does not pass to anyone else: a new claimant pays the price in effect at that time.

What’s included. Today Verified includes managing your listing and its attributes, your Programming settings and automatically generated schedules, “Confirmed” and “Likely” status in fan search, confirming individual games, photos, opening hours (including special and holiday hours), the basic website widget (which includes a “Game schedule by WhereToWatchSports” link), and, where enabled, a daily TV guide email.

No payment information. No credit card. No trial. Nothing to cancel. You do not need to provide a payment method to use Verified, and Verified never converts into a paid subscription on its own.

Changes to pricing and features. We may change our prices and plans, including whether Verified is offered at no charge to venues that do not hold the early sign-up offer. A price change never applies to a venue while it holds that offer. We may improve, change, or retire features for every venue, including venues that hold the offer. If we decide to charge for Verified, we will tell you by email and on this page at least 30 days before any charge applies, and you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe and provide a payment method at that time.

Paid tools. We also offer optional paid tools (for example WTWS Insights, Website Widget Pro and the Marketing Calendar) and promoted placements. You are only charged for one if you choose to buy it. Most paid tools are monthly subscriptions; one-time purchases such as promotions follow the terms shown at purchase:

  • Price. The price is shown before you subscribe. Tools priced per location are charged for every location on your account, on a graduated scale that is also shown before you subscribe.
  • Organization billing. A bar’s claimant can ask an organization to pay for the bar’s tools. Nothing changes until the organization’s owner accepts. Either side can end it later, and billing then returns to the claimant with prorated charges.
  • Automatic renewal. Each subscription renews automatically every month at the price then in effect, charged to your payment method on file, until you cancel.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel a tool at any time from your billing page. It stays active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew.
  • Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to a renewal.
  • Website widget link. Every website widget, free or paid, includes a “Game schedule by WhereToWatchSports” link. Keeping it is a condition of using the widget; you may not remove it or mark it nofollow.
  • Your content. You are responsible for the event text you add; we may remove content that breaks these Terms.
  • Insights. Insights are estimates of activity on WhereToWatchSports and may change as we improve counting; they are not a guarantee of results. Our support staff may view your Insights to help you.
  • Promotions. We may stop a venue from buying promotions for a misleading listing or repeated cancellations; promotions that haven’t started are refunded.

Promoted placements are paid per promotion and website services are billed under a separate agreement; the terms shown at purchase apply. Declining paid tools never affects your Verified plan.

When Verified can end. We may remove Verified from a venue if the venue permanently closes, if we revoke the claim because it was made by someone not authorized to represent the venue, or if the operator materially breaches these Terms — including repeatedly showing games as “Confirmed” that the venue does not actually show.

Keeping your programming accurate. When you mark a team or event series as “Showing every game,” we show every one of its games on our schedule at your venue as “Confirmed” to fans; “Showing most games” shows them as “Likely.” You are responsible for keeping these settings accurate and for marking individual games “Not showing” when your plans change.

Listings that have not been claimed by an Operator do not require a subscription and do not create a billing relationship between WhereToWatchSports and the venue.

6.4 Operator Acceptable Use

As an Operator, you agree not to provide false or misleading information about your venue’s game schedules or attributes, attempt to manipulate the Service’s trust-tier designations for venues you do not operate, or resell or sub-license access to your Operator account.

6.5 Removal and Corrections Requests

Bar and restaurant owners who believe their venue is incorrectly listed, or who wish to request correction or removal of scraped or inferred data, may contact us using the information in Section 11. Claiming your listing through the standard claim process is the most direct way to control your venue’s information.

7. Data, Privacy, and Third-Party Services

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Service aggregates data from sports data providers, mapping and places services, publicly accessible venue websites, and AI-derived analysis of those sources. Data is presented as-is; we are not the original source of most third-party venue data and cannot guarantee its accuracy.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to provide notice (for example, a notice on the Service or an email to registered Operators). Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 4, 5, 7, and 9–11 survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Contact

For questions about these Terms, including billing questions about paid tools, contact us at team@wheretowatchsports.ai. Operators who buy paid tools can manage them from the Billing page in the operator dashboard.

12. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WhereToWatchSports regarding the Service.
